It's a big EDC market out there, and tons of awesome gear is released all the time. We made The Drop to help you discover the latest and greatest essentials worth a spot in your EDC.

We previously covered The Combo Deck EDC Organizer from Holme & Hadfield, a stylish and elegant way to display your collection of knives and watches while offering robust protection from the elements. Taking things a step (or five) further, the Armada display dase retains the classy aesthetic and excellent build quality found in all of Holme & Hadfield’s display cases in a superlative upgrade that showcases even the most extensive everyday carry collection.

The Armada can hold up to 40-50 pocket knives, using solid wood pillars and a clear hinged acrylic cover that displays nine of your best, giving you a 360° view of your collection. You can easily rotate the pillars to access your knives, and they are also removable so that you can customize the layout of your case according to your preference. The case also has two felt-lined drawers that open with smooth running metal rails that fit an additional 30-40 knives or more of your gear. The top drawer has an option to store up to five fixed blades or flashlights as well.

What we love: The Armada case comes with a 100% “no questions asked” lifetime warranty. Holme & Hadfield will replace any broken parts or the entire product at no cost to you for life. And while made of wood like the rest of their cases, the Armada also comes in black for stealthy colorway collectors, in addition to the regular walnut.

What to watch out for: You’ll need to find a large area to store it. The Armada measures  21.3" x 13.3” x 13.5” while weighing a hefty 27 pounds, taking up roughly the same space as a microwave.

Final verdict: For collectors, the Armada is the holy grail of display cases. Whether as a gift for the everyday carry collector or if you’ve been looking for an elegant solution to displaying your collection, this desk behemoth is worthy of your best gear.
