It’s a blast from the past for today’s trending gear, as Olight’s original S1 Baton climbs the charts once again. Despite its tiny footprint, it’s still able to offer the power and features of modern lights twice its size. With an XM-L2 LED powered by a single CR123A or RCR123A battery, the S1 puts out 500 lumens for up to 120 yards. On the low end, it can keep a 0.5 lumen glow running for an impressive 25 days. It achieves its 2.4 inch length by using shorter TIR (total internal reflection) optics, providing a floody beam ideal for bathing wider areas with even light. The side switch, pocket clip, and magnetized tail work to make the most of the light’s compact size in and out of the pocket.
