Colorful multi-tools just in time for summer, next-level knife designs, and more.

Leatherman Signal Guava

We’ve long been big fans of Leatherman and their handy and cleverly designed one-of-a-kind EDC multi-tools, and they’re ready to get your EDC summer-ready with a fresh Guava colorway for their outdoor-oriented Signal multi-tool. This compact marvel comes with 19 impressive tools and is incredibly durable, sporting a body built from DLC-coated stainless steel with a unique Cerakote finish to really make this new colorway pop.

The Leatherman Signal is the first compact multi-tool to feature a built-in ferro rod, hammer, and emergency whistle, and is an underrated performer as far as Leatherman’s catalog goes. Designed for one-handed use, it also includes an all-locking mechanism for secure handling and outside-accessible blades for quick tasks, with the rest of its functions tucked away inside. The Signal comes equipped with a 420HC combo knife, diamond sharpener, replaceable wire cutters, screwdrivers, and more. With its removable pocket clip, it’s perfect for any outdoor adventure. Whether you’re gearing up for a summer of excursions, shopping for someone special, or just really looking to brighten up your gear closet, now’s the best time to snag one for yourself. The Leatherman Signal is available at a 20% discount through July 31st, so get yours now.

The James Brand The Barnes

The James Brand continues to redefine the art of modern pocket knives with its latest offering, The Barnes. Crafted from a single billet of 6AL4V titanium, this frame-lock knife showcases a strong and elegant design language. It utilizes advanced CNC machining techniques that result in a sleek, solid handle (an integral, or single piece of titanium with a framelock cutout) that feels great to hold. At its heart lies a 3.5” drop-point blade made from Böhler M390 stainless steel, which is an ideal choice for EDC tasks that require high corrosion resistance.

The Barnes also features a machined 6AL4V titanium pocket clip, ensuring secure and discreet carry, and includes a paracord lanyard for added convenience. Each knife is presented in a premium gift box complete with a CNC wood insert, polishing cloth, and a collectible double-sided TJB coin that pays homage to the Clovis point—one of humanity’s earliest tools. Designed for right-handed, tip-up carry, and weighing a mere 4.6 oz, The Barnes combines practicality with an eye-catching design, making it the perfect tool for both everyday use and special occasions.

Vosteed Shark Bomb Prybar

This one’s for everyday carry enthusiasts who know they shouldn’t use their knives as prybars and need a bombproof alternative. The new Vosteed Shark Bomb looks like an old-school bomb, but there’s more to its retro shape. On the business end of the bomb is the pry wedge and nail puller, but this unique tool also offers a staple remover thanks to its curved hook at the tip. And, of course, no pocket everyday carry tool would be complete without a bottle opener, and the Vosteed Shark Bomb Prybar includes one.

With its integrated reversible wire clip, the Vosteed Shark Bomb Prybar can be carried like a pocket knife, ensuring you always have it on hand when needed. Vosteed also included a key ring to allow the Shark Bomb to be added to your keychain for carry convenience. The solid grade 5 titanium construction is as bombproof as the tool’s design inspiration, and the jimping and chamfered edge give you more control than a standard minimalist everyday carry prybar can offer.

CJRB Pyrite Light

The trend towards lightweight knives in everyday carry is welcome, but knives in that group tend to be smaller. That’s why we love the new CJRB Pyrite Light, which actually sizes up Artisan Cutlery’s time-tested Pyrite design from 3.11″ to 3.34″ while only adding 5 grams over the original. They also switched the handle from steel with G10 scales to a more efficient fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) design.

With the button lock built into the handle, the modified wharncliffe-style utility blade made of solid AR-RPM9 stainless steel locks into place securely. We like that this edition of the knife keeps the easy-to-sharpen flat ground blade geometry that lacks a bolster, making it very easy to touch up with a whetstone for maintenance. Better still, with the CJRB Pyrite Light, you get a smaller price, so it’s an easy pickup if you’re looking to switch up or add to your everyday carry rotation.

CRKT Fial

CRKT has partnered with Princeton Wong, an acclaimed custom knifemaker, to release the Fial Liner Lock knife. Inspired by Wong’s award-winning design from the 2021 Blade Show, the Fial features a 3.62” blade with a unique hidden wine tool, including a corkscrew and boot lever, tucked into the handle.

Available in two versions, the Fial Liner Lock offers a 12C27 steel blade with a bead blast finish and stainless steel handle for $113, and a luxurious Böhler M390 steel blade with a satin finish and titanium handle for $275. The knife measures 8.25” when open and 4.61-2” when closed, with weights ranging from 5.60 to 3.80 oz. Both models are equipped with CRKT’s renowned IKBS ball-bearing pivot system for smooth deployment and a liner lock for easy one-handed closure. With its blend of innovative design and practical features, the Fial Liner Lock is a versatile and stylish addition to any EDC collection.
