EAGTAC D3C Titanium Limited Edition

When titanium, tint, and clever touches converge on a flashlight, the result is often a solid choice for everyday illumination. And with plenty of both premium and task-oriented lights under their belt, EAGTAC are able to push the limits of what’s possible from an EDC light. The D3C is the latest in their pocketable “D” line of flashlights, with a sleek titanium shell, top class tint, and fine touches in one of their most compact models yet. It’s more than powerful and versatile enough for everyday lighting tasks, all while looking damn good in your hands and EDC, too.

One look through EAGTAC’s catalog and you’ll see that it’s not often they bust out the complete titanium package on their lights. The D3C comes CNC-machined from titanium rod and brass cube, and hand-polished to a mirror finish. Key details on the body include ridges on the head to dissipate heat, a unique diamond knurling pattern on the main barrel, and a removable clip screwed into the tail. The D3C’s body also comes with additional surface hardening to bolster its resilience on top of its IPX8-rated resistance.

Inside, the D3C uses an A1650RC RC LED driver which offers 50% more output than its predecessor. This allows its Nichia 219C emitter (4000K, CRI-92) a top output of 510 LED lumens along with 4 other modes, with additional programming for those who have specific output needs. Mode switching and programming is done via a rear (glow in the dark!) clicky switch, recessed in the tail to allow tailstanding. For a power source, the D3C takes on 1 x CR123A or protected RCR123 button-tops, allowing for a good balance of voltage and runtime and work with batteries you may already have. And when it’s time to move, the D3C’s 2.9“ length is a comfortable pocket carry for EDC.

The EAGTAC D3C sits at the apex of some of the best features flashlights can offer, and well worth a look for your everyday light. Pick one up at the Amazon link below.
