CRKT just dropped its 2025 lineup, and trust us when we say it’s a collection you won’t want to miss. From new designs to updated favorites, this year’s releases showcase the brand’s commitment to blending artistry with practicality, teaming up with some of the biggest names in the knife world. These are some models we’re most excited about, but be sure to check out all the other new releases on the CRKT website.

Handle MaterialsCarbon fiber/aluminum

The Twist Tighe Compact Automatic is one of those knives you’ll keep coming back to, just to admire it. Designed by Brian Tighe, this out-the-front (OTF) automatic knife is as striking in appearance as it is reliable in performance. The carbon fiber handle is lightweight, incredibly durable, and sports several eye-catching designs. Its dual-edged MagnaCut spear-point blade can handle just about any cutting task you can throw at it, and the double-action mechanism makes opening and closing it almost effortless. Note that automatic knives are heavily restricted, and you’ll have to read and agree to special terms on the CRKT website before you can buy one.

Provoke EDC Black

Knife NameCRKT Provoke EDC
Blade Length2.56″
Blade SteelD2 with TiN finish
Handle MaterialsAluminum
Lock TypeKinematic
MSRP$175.00

The Provoke EDC delighted us with its debut at SHOT Show 2023, taking the original Joe Caswell morphing design and applying it to a much more everyday-friendly drop point blade profile. This year marks a refresh for the innovative blade, this time completely blacked out with an added titanium nitride finish on the D2-steeled blade.

The original Provoke is based on the classic karambit design but adds a twist with the Kinematic deployment system, a unique series of interconnected modules that shift almost organically to transition the knife quickly and seamlessly between closed and open positions. Just a simple push of your thumb and the blade snaps into action. Made from D2 steel, the blade stays sharp through heavy use. Its aluminum handle strikes the sweet spot between being lightweight and sturdy, making it easy to carry without compromising on durability. And speaking of carry, the flush-mounted clip keeps it secure and discreet—it’s there when you need it and out of the way when you don’t.

M16-02X Crossbar Lock

Knife NameCRKT M16-02X
Blade Length3.11″
Blade SteelD2
Handle MaterialsGrivory
Lock TypeCrossbar Lock
MSRP$75.00

Even though Kit Carson passed away in 2014, his legacy in the knife world is as strong as ever. His tactical EDC designs are timeless classics – and none stand out more than the M16. CRKT has taken the iconic M16 to the next level with the M16-02X Crossbar Lock, an updated version of a true original. This new version is packed with modern upgrades while staying true to its roots. The tanto blade, made from tough D2 steel, offers solid edge retention and piercing strength, making it a go-to choice for hard-use situations. The new ambidextrous Crossbar Lock combined with the IKBS ball-bearing pivot makes opening and closing the knife super smooth, even one-handed. Add the Grivory handle—built from aircraft-grade thermoplastic—for a durable, lightweight, and secure grip in all conditions, and you’ve got a knife that’s ready for anything.
