The Spyderco Para Military 2 trends on as one of the brand’s most successful folders. Its popularity has created the demand for a smaller, even more pocketable version, and nowadays we have the Spyderco Para 3 and the Para 3 Lightweight. Still, the 3.75-ounce Para Military 2 holds up as a great EDC knife with its 3.44” CPM-S45VN blade that’s fully flat ground into the brand’s iconic leaf shape. It’s proven to be a reliable cutter and slicer, handling everyday tasks and more.

The blade deploys via the brand’s trademark Round Hole and retracts via the pinch-style Compression Lock into stainless steel liners clad in grippy textured G-10 scales. The handle shape and finger choil make the Para Military 2 an ergonomic knife to use regardless of your hand size, and this may be one of the best things about it. An ambidextrous 4-position pocket clip gives you multiple options for carry.

I love this knife and the brand that makes it, at the beginning I did not fancy too much Spyderco trademark feature (Spydihole), and their blade styles, then I purchased the Tenacious, and the rest is history, I now own two PM2, Delica, Endura, and several other models and I am waiting for an offer to purchase a PM3 with Micarta scales
